Homeowner's Fees are paid quarterly to the management company through their secure portal. The fees are due January 1st, April 1st, July 1st and October 1st.
The Covenants, Restrictions and Easements are the governing legal documents that set up the guidelines for the operation of the planned community as a non-profit corporation.
These Covenants, Restrictions and Easements are amended from time to time. The Declaration of Covenants, Restrictions and Easements and Amendments are located on this website at the tab for Documents.
Additionally, we have a Chart for HOA and Owner Responsibility that summarizes the responsibilities between the HOA and Owners. That chart can be found in the Documents tab of this website.
Further, you can also find in the Documents tab the Bylaws and the Articles of Incorporation for the non-profit corporation for the community - Voysey Community Association, Inc.
The roads in Voysey are private roads. The City of Alpharetta does not maintain these roads as the roads do not meet the standard width of a public road. Therefore, these roads can never be turned over to the City.
As a result, the POA is responsible for maintenance and repair.
Additionally, ALL OWNERS are responsible for keeping the roads clear so that deliveries can be made and emergency vehicles have access to each and every home in Voysey.
Parking in front of the mailboxes is a federal offense.
The Covenants require no obstruction to the flow of vehicles on the roads. Parking is dedicated to the following:
1. your garage
2. your driveway IF all four wheels fit on the driveway
3. your parking pad IF all four wheels fit on the parking pad
4. short term vendor parking on the roads IF it does not block access in and out from neighbors' garages, driveways and/or parking pads.
Suggestions for alternative parking are -
1. park on Haynes Bridge, the Alpharetta Library or Thompson Street
2. Owner moves their vehicle in order to allow their vendor to park in their garage or driveway
3. Have the vendor drop off their equipment and park in public parking spots.
If there is a violation of the parking Covenants, please email the Board at board@voyseypoa.com. Include a photo of the offending car. The Board can act more quickly than the management company. If the Board finds there is a violation, the Board can fine and/or tow a vehicle within the Board discretion.
All complaints must first be brought to the attention of our management company, PMI North Atlanta - David Kane - dkane@pminorthatlanta.com. Please do not text or email individual Board members with complaints. We are creating a paper trail and streamlining the discussions/research to PMI. PMI can handle the majority of the complaints. Any issue that is not handled by our management company will be directed to the Board for discussion and review.
If you have an emergency or are directed by PMI to reach out to the Board, then Owners may reach out to the Board via our central email system of board@voyseypoa.com or landscape@voyseypoa.com. These emails go to all Board members.
Once the Board gets an issue, our process is to get information from all sides of the issue prior to making a determination or resolution. This process takes time as the Board wants to make informed and educated decisions. The Board will issue a decision/resolution once it has taken the time to vet and discuss the issue.
Architectural requests should be submitted as a single file as this is the association’s permanent record of the requested change. The list of required items is included on the form. It is important that the request be complete and correctly formatted as incomplete or incorrectly formatted submissions will delay processing. If you are not able to provide a single pdf file, you may mail your submission to the management company. The ACC form may be found in the Documents tab of this website.
The doggie poop station located on Melina Place is cleaned twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Any other doggie poop stations located along the Alpha Loop are maintained by the City of Alpharetta.
The HOA takes care of establishing service and payment of trash and recycling for each property. Please contact the management company to set up service.
The City of Alpharetta has privatized the trash and recycling pick up. We are set up with the City's vendor and on their schedule of pick up.
Phase 1 is currently scheduled for pick up on Tuesdays.
Phase 2 is currently scheduled for pick up on Mondays.
Look in the Documents Tab of this website for a list of items that ARE recyclable and a list of items that ARE NOT recyclable.
How To Report Issues With Waste / Recycling Collection
Like many employers, Republic Services (our curbside residential waste services provider) is dealing with staffing challenges, and that is resulting in service delays. These delays are hitting glass recycling collection especially hard because the order of service prioritization is trash, regular recycling, yard waste, and then glass recycling collection. The City is asking residents to report missed service days or other service issues using a new online form, as this will help us to more quickly resolve issues and hold our vendor accountable.
